ESTHETICS
(600 hours)
On-campus & Hybrid Distance Learning
Full-time completion: 3.75 – 4.5 months
Part-time completion: 5 – 9 months
Our Goal:
The 600-clock hours program, helps prepare students for an exciting career as a licensed esthetician. Cosmo Beauty College’s Esthetics program boasts comprehensive instruction to pass the state board examination and practical training to prepare students with the most up-to-date salon services, key fundamentals in esthetics procedures, techniques, application methods, materials, equipment, supplies, and products.
The first half of the program is devoted to theoretical and technical instructions, which consist of reading, bookwork, and various learning activities in the classroom. Students will be able to acquire and retain relevant knowledge and information. Students will learn the fundamentals of Health & Safety, Infection Control, Facials, Skin Care Treatments, Hair Removal, Make-up application, and Skin Care Products. To ensure our students’ success, our experienced instructors will provide thorough practical hands-on training and one-on-one feedback, which contributes to our belief that not only learning theory is important, but also developing them into professional skills.
Once the fundamentals of the curriculum are acquired, students advance to core training and will start working with clients and be prepared for a real salon environment. The remainder of the program time is devoted to practical operations interlaced with theory, in which students develop and practice their skills under the supervision of instructors.
After completing the esthetics program, students will be eligible to apply for California’s State Board licensing examination and become a licensed-professional. We hope that our students leave here applying their knowledge and continue to learn in related areas of the beauty industry. At Cosmo Beauty College, we want to create a significant learning experience that provides a positive and lasting influence in our students’ lives and in their workplace.
